In the forty-fifth World of Warcraft podcast episode, we make appointments for patch 5.4 and the next expansion, the Dark Below. We cover the release of TradeSkillMaster 2.0 and reveal tips and tricks, and explain Groups, Operations, formulas, math, and even a quick and dirty setup to get you started with making gold using the latest version of TSM. We get all wireless with our peripherals, visit some place called “Funder” Island, and address additional WoW etiquette questions. We cover the Thirty Weeks of World of Warcraft’s least favorite dungeon, and we ask that, no matter what, you refrain from jumping in the pool.

Change is scary! Nothing works!!
Accounting, Additions, Auctioning, Crafting, Mailing, Shopping, and Warehousing
Create groups as you used to… “Enchanting” or “Cata Gems Rare Uncut”
Module Operations / Options -> Default Operation Tab -> Set to “Post”
Now, create an “operation” to make use of your groups
Scenario 1 – Glyphs
OMG The Formulas!
Exit WoW and log in… if WoW crashes, your changes are lost
Use the TSM software… force update, log off/on to WoW to see changes
If you use an addon updater, override TSM UJ and TSM Wowuction to force 2.0+ update
The Quick and the Dirty
Create a global group and a default auction operation
Assign operation to group and you’re done
What Effects will TSM 2.0 Have on the Market?
AH savvy players will make more gold?
Casual gold-makers left out?
Was able to program the M510 buttons just like my G500

I enjoyed what you guys had to say last week regarding player housing. I think it would be really cool to decorate your “home” with in-game trophies, e.g., old gear sets and legendary weapons. I have a similar idea: give players the opportunity to obtain mounts, titles, and gear that is specific to each xpac, e.g., Atiesh, the Amani War Bear, and <Hand of A’dal>. These things don’t give you an advantage in future game play, but from a nostalgic sense they are invaluable. As someone who started playing in 3.1, every time I see a player with the Corrupted Ashbringer I can tell immediately that said player was around during the old days of WoW, saw things that I never will, and probably has a wealth of stories to share. As more “old timers” leave the game, there are fewer examples of xpac-specific gear/mounts/titles. Sadly, that means that new players may never have their curiosity piqued by creative designs of yesteryear.
My favourite Cataclysm dungeon was Well of Eternity. It had fun mechanics and great lore! “Illidan!!! What are you DOING?!!?!”
Mildrid (Earthen Ring) / Svander (Dark Iron)
Favorite Cataclysm Dungeon:
Tomb of the Cybermen in Uldum Highlands. Love the mechanics on the fight where you have to keep replacing the well fed buff, and the other fight where you have to trigger 5 cut scenes in the correct order. Also great that they got unmistakable voice acting by Shia LaBeouf for the final boss Twain Mark IV.
Throne of Tides Beautiful and fun.
Still no luck on getting my audio set up — hopefully next week.
In the meantime, here’s three haikus while you wait:
Three months without WoW
while sowing my last wild oats
Booze, Broads, Debauch’ry
Green Robot Chicken.
Flawless Mechanical Stone…
Why you don’t appear???
Dispel! Dispel! GHARRR!
Horridon is HORRIBLE!
Raid teams slowly die…

@bitterandsalty Invalid question, they all sucked.

@bitterandsalty EndTime was fun because it was different each time and I enjoyed the mechanics, but ZulGurub was a really awesome challenge!

@bitterandsalty None of the above. Seriously, *bleep* Cataclysm!

@bitterandsalty Favourite Cata Dungeon, Lost City of Tol,Vir. Love the ancient Egyptian architecture and that big guardian boss with wings!

@bitterandsalty Ozruk in Sttonecore taught me how to tank, but Zul'Gurub was my favorite.

I kinda hate all dungeons so I’ll pick the one with Raz. Or the Well of Eternity one only cuz I could destroy meters on the last boss. Either one. Whatever.
Singing Sunflower Name revealed!

Fifth 90! No Quintessential Quintet achieve, though, since I leveled TWO priests. #sadtrombone
Hey BS crew!
First off, let me state that it will be an absolute crime if you don’t name your Singing Sunflower “MolSUN”. Not only is it a fitting tribute to an awesome co-host and BFF, but also the irony of juxtaposing the sunflower, which is all about renewal and positivity, with Molsan’s generally sardonic outlook on things is pure pet-naming gold.
Also, if you have a disgusting oozeling and fail to name it “Dan Gooey” I will uninstall WoW, move to Canada, buy a horse and stop bothering people.
On a similar note: I am somewhat of a pet naming enthusiast, and though I’m humble about it, I can’t deny that I’m kind of a “big deal” on my server. I tend to give my pets names that reflect either their physical appearance or general abilities. For example, my Emperor Crab is named “Crabface McPinch” and my Anubisath Idol proudly wears the moniker “Dogface Manbody” I was recently attempting to name my Kun Lai Runt “Mr Smashy” and I was denied. Apparently the prefix “Mr.” is used in several popular euphemisms referring to several popular body parts that Blizzard deems sexual in nature. It didn’t bother me until I remembered that “Mr Wiggles” was one of my Blizzard-named pets. I submit to you that “Mr. Wiggles” is far more provocative than “Mr. Smashy”. As a little experiment, I attempted to name my pet biscuit-enhanced chicken “Enourmous Cöck” and was successful. I swear I don’t know what Blizz is thinking sometimes

Questions about mouse over macros and Naga and Nostormo
I really love listening to the show because it has changed the way I play and the way I feel about the game. Up until a few weeks ago (when I found your show) I tended to race to max level and race to grind gear. I thought that’s what I needed to do and I needed to stay caught up with my raid team even though we are just a casual group of friends who raid twice a week. Once there, as I am now, I tend to just work the AH to make gold. I never experienced the game content outside the raids and heroics. I never cared about lore, secondary professions, achievements, pets, mounts, etc.
Listening to you two discuss the game and how you play has made me interested in those other parts. I thank you for that.

At first I really enjoyed this podcast, but with the host change, meh, not so much. Not a fan.
